Clince Website Terms And Conditions

Welcome to the ClinCE website. These Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") govern your access to and use of the ClinCE website (the "Website") and its associated services. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

Terms of Service

ClinCE Continuing Education Platform

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ClinCE platform at www.clince.com you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ClinCE Incorporated. If you do not agree to these Terms you must not access or use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

To register and use the ClinCE Platform you must meet all of the following criteria:

  1. Be at least 18 years of age
  2. Be a licensed or credentialed healthcare professional including Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists
  3. Hold a valid membership with a supported professional association (currently ASHA for Beta release)
  4. Provide accurate and complete registration information including a valid Association Member Number
  5. Not have been previously suspended or removed from the Platform

3. Account Registration

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must notify ClinCE immediately at support@clince.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. ClinCE will not be liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account credentials.

Each user may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts is prohibited and may result in termination of all associated accounts.

4. Platform Services

ClinCE provides the following services through the Platform:

  1. Access to a library of continuing education courses, webinars, and podcasts
  2. Course enrollment, video streaming, quiz completion, and evaluation submission
  3. Automated certificate of completion generation upon satisfying all course requirements
  4. CEU Tracker for monitoring certification maintenance progress
  5. Support services for technical and educational inquiries

5. Course Completion and Certificates

To receive a Certificate of Completion and earn CEU credit for a course you must complete all of the following steps:

  1. Enroll in the course
  2. Watch the course content in full
  3. Pass the associated quiz with the required minimum score
  4. Complete and submit the course evaluation

Failure to complete all steps will result in no certificate being issued regardless of partial progress.

ASHA CEUs are awarded only through the ASHA CE Registry. The certificate issued by ClinCE serves as a record of completion only. It is your responsibility to submit completion records to the ASHA CE Registry.

You are responsible for ensuring your profile information including your name and ASHA membership number is accurate. ClinCE is not responsible for errors on certificates resulting from inaccurate user-provided information.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

  1. Share your account credentials with any other person
  2. Attempt to access courses or content you are not enrolled in
  3. Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Platform
  4. Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  5. Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  6. Reproduce, distribute, or resell any course content without prior written authorization from ClinCE
  7. Submit false or fraudulent information including falsified CEU records or certificates
  8. Harass, abuse, or harm other users or ClinCE staff through the support system

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the ClinCE Platform including but not limited to course videos, written materials, quizzes, evaluations, certificates, branding, and software is the intellectual property of ClinCE Incorporated or its licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content solely for your personal continuing education purposes. No content may be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent from ClinCE.

8. Payments and Refunds

Access to certain courses or features may require a paid membership plan. Details of available plans and pricing are available on the Membership page of the Platform.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase and prior to completing more than 20% of any enrolled course. Refunds will not be issued for completed courses or issued certificates. For refund requests please contact billing@clince.com.

9. Disclaimers

Course content on ClinCE is intended for continuing education purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, clinical guidance, or a substitute for professional judgment. ClinCE is not responsible for clinical decisions made based on course content.

ClinCE does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or temporary suspensions of service with or without prior notice.

Some courses may include content from third-party speakers or organizations. ClinCE does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of third-party content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law ClinCE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including loss of data, loss of CEU records, or inability to access the Platform. ClinCE total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to ClinCE in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

ClinCE reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any conduct deemed harmful to the Platform or its users. Upon termination your access to the Platform will cease immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Orange County, California.

13. Changes to Terms

ClinCE reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email or platform notification at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
